The Nevo A05 pairs a 1.5L petrol engine with an 18.4 kWh battery for a combined 212 hp and 330 Nm. Charged from any Type 2 socket, it covers up to 130 km (CLTC) on electricity alone; the engine takes total range to 1,250 km. Eco, Normal, Sport, and Custom modes set how the two power sources work together.
The Smart AI Electric Drive System in the Nevo A05 and Q05 received the 2023 Top Ten Engines and Hybrid Systems of China award. In the A05 it pairs the 1.5L engine with an 18.4 kWh battery for a combined 212 hp and 330 Nm through the front wheels.
The roof line falls away from the low bonnet through to full-width tail lamps. At 4,770 mm long on a 2,765 mm wheelbase, it carries sedan space under a fastback profile.
