EV guides · The Electric Island

Where do you charge an EV in Cebu?

Your wall socket is the station

The single biggest surprise for new EV owners: you do not need special infrastructure. Every Wuling and every BYD in our lineup charges overnight from an ordinary household outlet. Plug in at 9 PM, wake up full.

Faster options around town

DC fast charging runs at BYD Cars Cebu on A.S. Fortuna, with AC chargers at Ayala Center Cebu and Il Corso. BYD buyers also get the home wall charger and portable charger included free, plus the V2L adapter.

What it costs

At about ₱12 per kWh and 15 kWh per 100 km, a full 'tank' of electrons costs a fraction of gasoline, roughly ₱1 to 2 per kilometer. Slide your own monthly mileage in our fuel-savings calculator on the home page and see what stays in your pocket.

One island, one charge

Cebu runs about 196 km end to end, and most of our electrified lineup does the round trip on a single charge, several models will lap the whole 525-km coastal loop. Pick your model on the island range map and watch it drive.
